Greening for Growth employs a Community Liaison Officer; Ann Deary to help community groups and groups to improve their local environment. Ann's advice and assistance is free of charge. She can help develop ideas, involve others, find funding and help you get the work done.
Ann is currently working on projects in Blyth, Linton, Ashington, Broomhill, Widdrington, Choppington, Cramlington and Lynemouth, amongst others. These range from village greening programmes to green woodworking and environmental crafts, from school nature areas to large community greenspace projects. Environmental projects can deliver results quickly and encourage people to work together - a great way to kickstart the work of a community association and make a real difference to peoples quality of life!
